The newborn season is close to my heart. Because of this, I approach family and newborn photography from a documentary perspective, which means I’m less interested in creating a picture perfect version of your family and more interested in preserving the way your family actually is.
For newborn sessions, that often means slowing down.
We might spend time in the nursery, move into the living room, take a few portraits near a window, or simply follow wherever your baby takes us.
There is room for movement, quiet, chaos, and connection.
And because these sessions take place in your own home, there is something incredibly personal about looking back at these photographs years later.
